0 Ech0 versions prior to 4.7.3 have a vulnerability in the PUT /api/echo/like/:id endpoint that allows unauthenticated attackers to increment the fav_count of any echo, including private ones, without rate limiting. This can be exploited to artificially inflate popularity metrics and cause increased load on the database and cache. The issue is fixed in version 4.7.3.
