A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's regmap slimbus implementation was resolved by correcting an incorrect bus_context pointer used in regmap initialization calls. The issue was introduced after a commit that changed the regmap initialization function, causing kernel paging faults and breaking audio playback on affected hardware such as the Thundercomm Dragonboard 845c. The fix involves using the correct bus_context pointer in both __devm_regmap_init_slimbus() and __regmap_init_slimbus() functions.
