node-re2 versions prior to 1.25.1 contain a reachable assertion vulnerability in the WrappedRE2::Replace function. This occurs because the function uses V8's ToLocalChecked without verifying if the resulting string exceeds V8's maximum string length, leading to a fatal process abort.
