An improper escaping vulnerability in the request URL of ConfigServer Security & Firewall (CSF) allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to execute arbitrary commands as the CSF service account via shell command injection. This affects versions originally distributed by ConfigServer and some WebPros-maintained forks containing the vulnerable code. WebPros has fixed the issue in version 16.30. Other forks or independently maintained versions may also be vulnerable and require independent evaluation.
