A flaw was found in search-v2-api. (CVE-2026-71467)CVE-2026-71467 0 CVE-2026-71467 is a high-severity vulnerability in the search-v2-api component of Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management for Kubernetes. The authentication middleware skips authentication when a request includes an 'Upgrade: websocket' header, allowing unauthenticated attackers to bypass authentication by sending a crafted HTTP POST request to the /federated endpoint. This leads to unauthorized disclosure of federated search results across all configured remote managed hubs. The FEATURE_FEDERATED_SEARCH is enabled by default in Global Hub deployments, increasing exposure. Mitigation involves disabling FEATURE_FEDERATED_SEARCH if unused or restricting network access to the /federated endpoint to trusted clients. No official patch is currently referenced in the advisory. Join the discussion | GCVE Database | 08/11/2026, 21:33:10 UTC Added: 08/12/2026, 16:12:31 UTC |
