A vulnerability in Roundcube Webmail before versions 1.6.20 and 1.7.5 allows bypassing ImageMagick resource limits during thumbnail generation. Specifically, when the image processing falls back to GD, the memory check was only applied on Windows platforms, allowing crafted images with large dimensions to exhaust server memory on other platforms. This issue has been fixed upstream by applying the memory check on all platforms.
