0 CVE-2026-90781 is an off-by-one stack buffer overflow vulnerability in alsa-lib versions up to and including 1.2.16.1. The flaw occurs in the __snd_ctl_ascii_elem_id_parse() function when parsing a name= field with 64 or more characters, causing one byte to be written past a 64-byte buffer. This can lead to adjacent stack memory corruption and potentially crash the process using alsa-lib. Join the discussion | CVE Database V5 | 09/13/2026, 15:30:21 UTC Added: 09/13/2026, 22:12:49 UTC |
