In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: sparx5: unregister blocking notifier on init failure… (CVE-2026-72109)CVE-2026-72109 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's sparx5 network driver was resolved. The issue involved the improper handling of notifier unregistration during initialization failure. Specifically, if the allocation of an ordered workqueue failed, the blocking notifier was not unregistered, potentially leaving the system in an inconsistent state. This flaw has been fixed by adding a dedicated error handling path to unregister the blocking notifier properly.
