A vulnerability in GNU patch allows an attacker to create arbitrary files outside the intended working directory by using specially crafted patch files. The vulnerability requires user interaction to apply the malicious patch. Join the discussion | GCVE Database | 10/22/2026, 12:31:16 UTC Added: 10/22/2026, 17:16:10 UTC |
