CVE-2024-47750 is a use-after-free vulnerability in the RDMA/hns subsystem of the Linux kernel affecting HIP08 devices. The issue occurs because the rsv_qp resource is freed before the ib_unregister_device() function is called, allowing use of freed memory during deregistration of memory regions. This flaw has been fixed by moving the release of rsv_qp to after the call to ib_unregister_device().
