A memory corruption vulnerability in the WebP image decoding functionality of the SAIL Image Decoding Library v0.9.8 allows an attacker to trigger an integer overflow when processing specially crafted .webp animation files. This leads to a heap-based buffer overflow during image decoding, potentially enabling remote code execution if the attacker convinces the library to read a malicious file.
