In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/xe: fix NPD in bo_meminfo() When a buffer object is purged, its ttm.resource… (CVE-2026-72359)CVE-2026-72359 0 A null pointer dereference (NPD) vulnerability in the Linux kernel's drm/xe component was resolved. The issue occurs when a buffer object (BO) is purged and its associated ttm.resource pointer is set to NULL, but the BO remains in the client's object list until userspace closes the GEM handle. If memory statistics are queried during this time, accessing the NULL ttm.resource pointer causes a crash. The fix safely skips purged BOs in memory info queries to avoid dereferencing NULL pointers.
