CVE-2025-21968 is a high severity use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel's AMD display driver related to HDCP workqueue handling. The flaw occurs when HDCP is destroyed but a delayed work queue continues running, leading to a slab-use-after-free condition. This can cause memory corruption with potential confidentiality, integrity, and availability impacts. The issue has been fixed by canceling the delayed work when destroying the workqueue.
