CVE-2026-10805: Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an OS Command ('OS Command Injection') in Red Hat Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8CVE-2026-10805 0 A local privilege escalation vulnerability (CVE-2026-10805) was found in NetworkManager's dhclient backend when processing malformed Manufacturer Usage Description (MUD) URLs. This flaw allows a local user to escalate privileges by triggering a script via a crafted MUD URL, but only if an administrator has explicitly configured NetworkManager to use dhclient. Default configurations of NetworkManager are not affected. Red Hat has released security updates for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 and 9 to address this issue.
