CVE-2024-54495 is a vulnerability in macOS that allowed an app to modify protected parts of the file system due to insufficient permissions logic. This issue has been fixed in macOS Sequoia 15.2 and macOS Sonoma 14.7.2 by improving the permissions logic to prevent unauthorized modifications.
