ImageMagick versions before 7.1.2-19 contain a heap buffer overflow vulnerability in the magnify operation. This flaw is triggered by an unrecognized magnify:method value, causing an out of bounds read. The vulnerability may allow attackers to read memory beyond intended boundaries, potentially exposing sensitive information or causing a denial of service. No known exploits are reported in the wild. The vulnerability is classified as CWE-122 (Heap-based Buffer Overflow).
