The npm package 'post-purchase-frontend' versions 1.0.1 and 2.0.0 contain malicious code linked to the tea.xyz token reward campaign. This campaign flooded npm with over 15,000 spam packages that include autopublish scripts to generate and publish derivative packages with randomized names. The malicious payload modifies package metadata to remove privacy flags, alters version numbers, and continuously republishes variants to pollute the npm registry and inflate developer reputation scores.
