The npm package dian-nasi98-riris is part of a large-scale malicious campaign linked to the tea.xyz token reward system. It contains autopublish scripts that automatically generate and publish numerous derivative packages with randomized Indonesian-themed names. The malicious code modifies package.json files to remove private flags and alter version numbers, enabling continuous republishing of variants. This activity floods the npm registry with spam packages to artificially inflate developer reputation scores for token rewards.
