The npm package fitri-brengkes28-sluey contains malicious code as part of a large-scale spam campaign linked to the tea.xyz token reward system. This campaign involves over 15,000 spam packages that use autopublish scripts to generate and publish numerous derivative packages with randomized Indonesian-themed names. The malicious payload manipulates package metadata by removing private flags and altering version numbers to continuously republish variants, thereby polluting the npm registry and inflating developer reputation scores.
