The npm package bambang-botok90-breki contains malicious code that is part of a large-scale spam campaign associated with the tea.xyz token reward system. This campaign involves over 15,000 spam packages that use autopublish scripts to generate and publish numerous derivative packages with randomized Indonesian-themed names. The malicious payload manipulates package metadata to remove private flags and alter version numbers, enabling continuous republishing to inflate developer reputation scores and pollute the npm registry.
