The npm package citra-nasicampur77-riris contains malicious code linked to a large-scale spam campaign involving over 15,000 packages. These packages deploy autopublish scripts that automatically generate and publish derivative packages with randomized Indonesian-themed names. The payload manipulates package metadata to remove private flags and alter version numbers, enabling continuous republishing to inflate developer reputation scores for the tea protocol token rewards and pollute the npm registry.
