This campaign involves over 15,000 spam packages that use autopublish scripts to automatically generate and publish derivative packages with randomized Indonesian-themed names. The malicious payload modifies package metadata to remove privacy flags, alters version numbers, and continuously republishes variants, thereby polluting the npm registry and inflating developer reputation scores fraudulently.
