The npm package dian-gado-gado24-sluey contains malicious code linked to a large-scale spam campaign associated with the tea.xyz token reward system. This campaign involves autopublish scripts that automatically generate and publish numerous derivative packages with randomized Indonesian-themed names. The malicious payload modifies package metadata to remove private flags and increment version numbers, enabling continuous republishing of variants to pollute the npm registry and inflate developer reputation scores.
