The npm package umi-menjes7-riris contains malicious code linked to a large-scale spam campaign associated with the tea.xyz token reward system. This campaign involves over 15,000 spam packages that use autopublish scripts to automatically generate and publish numerous derivative packages with randomized names. The malicious payload modifies package metadata to remove privacy flags, alters version numbers, and continuously republishes variants to manipulate developer reputation scores and pollute the npm registry.
