MAL-2026-10030: Malicious code in @wagni_bot/opensea-sdk (npm) 0 The npm package @wagni_bot/opensea-sdk is a malicious package impersonating the OpenSea SDK namespace. It contains no legitimate SDK functionality but includes a postinstall script that automatically executes upon installation. This script searches the installer's home directory and crypto-wallet paths for files containing private keys, seed phrases, and other sensitive credentials. It also reads SSH private keys and filters environment variables for secrets. All collected data, including system hostname and username, is exfiltrated via plain HTTP to a hardcoded IP address. Installing this package results in the compromise of SSH keys, crypto wallet credentials, and secret environment variables.
