MAL-2026-10074: Malicious code in testis-pack (npm) 0 The npm package 'testis-pack' version 1.0.0 contains malicious code that executes automatically during installation via a preinstall hook. This hook downloads and runs an attacker-controlled binary disguised as a Windows system component, enabling remote code execution on the host machine. The malicious payload runs silently in the background with the installing user's privileges. Additionally, requiring the package triggers the same malicious behavior. This threat allows the attacker to execute arbitrary code on any system where the package is installed.
