MAL-2026-10102: Malicious code in dc-repro (npm) 0 The npm package 'dc-repro' version 2.1.2 contains malicious code that executes during installation. Its postinstall.js script makes an unauthorized HTTP GET request to a hardcoded IP address, sending package and campaign information without user consent. This behavior exposes the installer's IP and network details to an attacker-controlled server over an unencrypted connection. The package also includes a dependency on 'yandex-geobase', consistent with a dependency confusion attempt. This silent network callback occurs automatically during installation, potentially compromising the installer's environment.
