MAL-2026-10130: Malicious code in type-plint (npm) 0 The npm package 'type-plint' version 3.3.7 contains malicious code that executes arbitrary remote code by fetching and evaluating JavaScript from third-party mutable JSON-bin hosts. It masquerades as a pino-style logger but spawns a detached Node child process that downloads and executes code with full module access. Systems with this package installed should be considered fully compromised, and all secrets and keys on those systems must be rotated. Removal of the package alone may not fully remediate the compromise. Join the discussion | GCVE Database | 07/10/2026, 15:17:48 UTC Added: 07/11/2026, 09:36:49 UTC |
