MAL-2026-10155: Malicious code in notify-funcs (npm) 0 The notify-funcs npm package versions 1.3.5 and 1.3.6 contain malicious code that masquerades as a pino-compatible logging middleware. When invoked, it spawns a detached Node.js child process that fetches and executes remote JavaScript code with full Node.js privileges, enabling arbitrary remote code execution. This behavior is triggered when the package is used as Express middleware, posing a severe risk to the host environment.
