MAL-2026-10168: Malicious code in paysafe-fraud (npm) 0 The npm package 'paysafe-fraud' version 1.0.0 is a malicious typosquatting package impersonating the legitimate Paysafe Fraud Prevention SDK. It contains hidden code that exfiltrates environment variables containing sensitive credentials and host information to an attacker-controlled server. The exfiltration triggers on every API call and includes anti-analysis checks to evade detection in sandbox environments. This results in the leakage of credentials and host identifiers to malicious infrastructure as soon as the package is used.
