The npm package 'ishowfeet1' contains malicious code that facilitates mass publication of nearly 100 similarly named packages by rewriting package names and republishing them. The package's main asset is a browser Service Worker that serves a heavily obfuscated web proxy frontend with a hidden popunder redirect to a malicious site. There is no automatic code execution during Node.js installation, so the threat is primarily registry abuse and malicious browser-side behavior when the assets are loaded. The package does not compromise the installer environment directly but poses a critical risk through its browser-based payload and namespace spamming.
