MAL-2026-10625: Malicious code in @leviosa86com/leviosa86-test (npm)
0

The npm package '@leviosa86com/leviosa86-test' versions 4.999.0, 5.999.0, 6.0.0, and 6.2.1 contain malicious code that performs host reconnaissance and data exfiltration. Specifically, the package includes a script that collects host identifiers and the installer's public IP address, then exfiltrates this information via DNS queries to an attacker-controlled domain. This behavior is triggered during installation via a preinstall script. The package appears to be a namespace squatting or dependency confusion attempt targeting the private '@leviosa86com' scope.
