MAL-2026-10671: Malicious code in spytrack (npm) 0 The npm package 'spytrack' is a typosquatting malicious package impersonating 'chai-spies'. When used via chai.use(), it attempts to require an undeclared package 'dbconnectify'. If this package is missing, 'spytrack' silently installs it and executes code from it without user approval or manifest review. This results in execution of externally fetched code during plugin load in the installer's Node.js process. Only version 1.1.0 of 'spytrack' is known to be affected.
