Malicious code in @onescience/onecode (npm) 0 The npm package @onescience/onecode contains malicious code in its postinstall hook that downloads and executes an arbitrary binary from a hardcoded IP address without TLS certificate verification or integrity checks. This allows an attacker controlling the remote host or a network attacker to execute arbitrary code on the installer's machine. The package mimics another unrelated project and uses misleading naming conventions. Multiple specific versions of @onescience/onecode 1.14.50-202607161038 through 1.14.50-202608061753 are affected.
