Malicious code in tidal-embed-player (npm) 0 The npm package 'tidal-embed-player' version 1.0.1 contains malicious code that executes during installation. It collects sensitive host information including system hostname, user details, home directory, DNS servers, current working directory, and contents of /etc/passwd and /etc/hosts. This data is then exfiltrated via HTTPS to an external server. The package does not provide any legitimate player functionality and poses a severe risk of system compromise.
