Malicious code in @nasddatax/common (npm) 0 The npm package @nasddatax/common version 1.0.21 contains malicious code that executes attacker-controlled payloads on any machine that requires it. The package appends an obfuscated eval(atob(...)) loader that fetches commands from dynamically resolved IP addresses derived from Ethereum blockchain transactions. This allows the attacker to rotate command-and-control servers without republishing the package. The package masquerades as a common utility library with empty author and description fields, indicating it is an impostor package.
