Malicious code in akamaijs-sensor (npm) 0 The npm package akamaijs-sensor version 3.0.0 contains malicious code that executes attacker-controlled JavaScript within the consumer's Node.js process. It hides this code using invisible Unicode variation-selector characters inside a comment, which is decoded and executed dynamically. Additionally, it fetches a personal Google Calendar ICS feed to retrieve a rotating command-and-control URL, enabling the attacker to remotely execute arbitrary code via the package's sensor() API.
