Malicious code in fb-forms-form-boilerplate-contacts (npm) 0 The npm package fb-forms-form-boilerplate-contacts version 20.7.1 contains malicious code that downloads and executes attacker-controlled native binaries during installation and runtime. The package disguises its behavior by reconstructing endpoint hostnames at runtime to evade static analysis. The malicious payload is downloaded from attacker-controlled Cloudflare Workers endpoints and fallback DNS-TXT channels, saved to temporary directories with disguised filenames, given executable permissions, and executed detached without verification. This results in arbitrary code execution with the installer's privileges upon requiring the package after installation.
