The npm package pfp-forms-sme-sitebuilder version 20.2.1 contains malicious code that downloads and executes attacker-controlled binaries on the host system. The package reconstructs obfuscated hostnames to fetch platform-specific payloads, writes them to hidden locations, sets executable permissions, and executes them detached from the main process. This behavior occurs upon requiring the package, enabling remote code execution. A secondary dropper mechanism exists but is not triggered in this version.
