Malicious code in pvm-autodoc (npm) 0 The pvm-autodoc npm package version 20.4.6 contains malicious code that downloads and executes an unverified native binary from hardcoded Cloudflare Workers subdomains and a DNS TXT fallback. The binary is saved to temporary directories with names mimicking legitimate Microsoft diagnostic tools and executed detached from the main process. The package also includes a companion payload that performs similar fetch-and-execute actions using obfuscated API calls. This behavior is disguised as telemetry or analytics but actually enables remote code execution of opaque binaries.
