The quorvex npm package versions 0.2.0 and 0.2.1 contain malicious code that drops a base64-encoded Windows executable to the user's Startup folder on Windows hosts with more than 4GB of RAM. This executable, named vite-native-helper.exe, is designed to run automatically at user logon, establishing persistence. The package uses obfuscation and sandbox evasion techniques to ensure the payload executes when the module is imported.
