Malicious code in saas-f-testing (npm) 0 The npm package 'saas-f-testing' version 20.4.2 contains malicious code that, upon require, downloads a platform-specific executable from dynamically assembled hostnames. This executable is saved under covert filenames in temporary directories, given executable permissions, and spawned without any hash or signature verification. The code uses obfuscation techniques to evade static detection. A secondary malicious file exists but is not reachable from the main entry in this version.
