Malicious code in sso-tramvai-lib-roles (npm) 0 The npm package sso-tramvai-lib-roles version 20.8.3 is a malicious package masquerading as an SSO roles library. Upon requiring, it loads a runtime script that detects the host platform and downloads an unsigned binary from obfuscated Cloudflare Workers hosts, using a DNS TXT-record fallback channel. The binary is saved with deceptive filenames, given executable permissions, and executed without any signature verification. Additionally, the package contains a secondary dropper module framed as an analytics SDK that performs similar malicious actions but is not invoked by the main code.
