Malicious code in statist-browser-typed-client-risktech.uwfrontantifraud.events (npm) 0 The npm package statist-browser-typed-client-risktech.uwfrontantifraud.events version 20.1.5 contains malicious code that downloads and executes a platform-specific binary from anonymous Cloudflare Workers subdomains. The binary is fetched using obfuscated domain names and a DNS-TXT covert channel fallback, saved to temporary locations with disguised names, made executable, and run detached from the main process. Execution is suppressed based on environment variables related to telemetry to evade detection. No integrity checks are performed on the downloaded executable.
