Malicious code in travel-core-typings-reducers (npm) 0 The npm package travel-core-typings-reducers version 20.7.8 contains malicious code that, upon being required, loads a secondary script which downloads a platform-specific binary from dynamically assembled Cloudflare workers.dev hostnames. This binary is reconstructed via a DNS-TXT covert channel fallback and executed on the host system under disguised filenames. The package masquerades as a harmless typings module and includes telemetry opt-out environment variables as cover. No official patch or remediation information is provided.
