Malicious code in @sapappgyver/appgyver-descriptors (npm) 0 The npm package @sapappgyver/appgyver-descriptors version 9.9.11 contains malicious code that executes during installation and when required by other modules. It collects the installer's OS username, hostname, and current working directory basename, then encodes this information into a DNS query sent to an attacker-controlled domain, leaking sensitive host and user identity data. The package name is designed to visually mimic a legitimate SAP package scope but is unrelated to SAP. No official patch or fix is currently documented.
