Malicious code in capacity-capacity-core (npm) 0 The npm package capacity-capacity-core version 35.3.7 contains malicious code that downloads and executes attacker-controlled native binaries on the host system. Upon requiring the package, it fetches platform-specific binaries from obfuscated Cloudflare Workers URLs or fallback DNS TXT records, writes them to temporary directories with disguised filenames, sets executable permissions, and runs them detached from the main process. This behavior allows arbitrary native code execution without integrity verification of the downloaded binaries.
