Malicious code in checkout-desktop-input-card (npm) 0 The npm package 'checkout-desktop-input-card' version 35.9.4 contains malicious code that executes upon requiring the package. It downloads a binary from obfuscated Cloudflare Workers hostnames and fallback domains, writes it to temporary directories under disguised filenames, sets executable permissions, and executes it detached from the main process. The package masquerades as a UI component but acts as a cross-platform remote code execution dropper triggered by a simple require call.
