Malicious code in checkout-iframe (npm) 0 The npm package 'checkout-iframe' version 35.7.1 contains malicious code that downloads and executes platform-specific native binaries from obfuscated Cloudflare Workers hosts and fallback domains. These binaries are saved under disguised filenames, given executable permissions, and launched detached from the main process. The package also includes a secondary dropper disguised as an analytics SDK that performs similar malicious actions. The package falsely advertises itself as a checkout iframe provider but has no legitimate reason to download or execute native binaries at import time.
