Malicious code in checkout-mobile-bnpl (npm) 0 The npm package 'checkout-mobile-bnpl' version 35.6.9 contains malicious code that reconstructs Cloudflare Workers hostnames and uses DNS-TXT record fallback channels to download platform-specific binaries. These binaries are written to temporary directories under disguised names, given executable permissions, and executed detached from the main process. The package impersonates legitimate checkout or BNPL tooling but communicates with unrelated external hosts. An additional staged payload is present but not activated in this version.
